I want to meet Rick Allen who is the drummer for Def Leppard.
The reason I choose him, is because if you aren't familiar with the band, he was in a drinking and driving accident and lost his arm.
He fought through all the odds against him to get his carrer back. Def Leppard was either going to have to split up or find a new drummer, but Rick Allen learned how to drum again with only one arm left!! He's amazing to watch on a set of drums. He can play ANYTHING!!
He came through on top after his own personal nightmare was a reality.
He just chose to make the situation better and he ROCKS!!!!!!!

I've already met more musicians, rock stars, and actors than I care to mention (and, no, I'm not a groupie!)
Believe it or not, they're no different than anyone else. Oh, except that they are ALL spoiled and selfish, no matter how sweet, charming, or intelligent the initially seem. I think it just goes hand in hand with great talent, because of the crazy, demanding circumstances they find themselves in all the time.
Some I HAVEN'T met, whose work I've admired -- Steve Perry, Eric Carmen, and Benny Mardones (but none of the younger, more recent stars).

Bono. He does so much more than sing in a band and be a star. I think meeting him would give me insight into places and peoples in the world I'll never see or meet.
