yes you can add fuel inj. cleaner to gas tank. or tank your truck to a shop and they can actually run cleaner through the injector themselves. wynn's make a good system for this. totoal top end clean, injectors, intake valves etc. cost more though. i think about $125 around here.

You are on the right track!
I have found that at the Dollar-type stores I can buy two products Injector Cleaner and Gas Treatment made by Coastal for $1.00 each.
What you do is alternate putting one in with each and every gas tank fillup.
What happens is that the two clean out all your problems over a number of fillups and coninue to KEEP IT CLEAN.
Now at $1.00 a tank full--that is cheap for a perfect running engine.
I have been told that these dollar treatment will way more than pay for themselves in higher gas mileage.
Try it you will be glad you did!

bleau-t has it right. go to a good auto supply store and buy a product called techron. made by chevron. change the fuel filter before adding this to your tank. chances are it needs it anyway.

the best i have used you get it from chevron gas stations. about 5 dollars a bottle. good stuff

Just get the stuff that goes in your gas tank.It works ok.
