How do I portray it on a posterboard. If i use microscope, how do i get a picture of the change in amount of germs.

If you can't take a picture through the microscope then you will just have to draw a picture of the field. With some practice you can look through the objective with your left eye and look at your drawing with your right, a kind of virtual tracing from overlapping your visual fields. At first, you just close one eye or the other, then compare what you see with the other eye.

In order to do this, you will have to prepare the slide using the right dye-

I found a site that will tell you how to do this and a lot of other things you may need to know for this experiment:

I would suggest that you use agar plates rather than try to quantify results using slides.

Typically, you would perform serial dilutions of the bacteria and then plate in triplicate for better statistical inforamtion.

See http://abacus.bates.edu/~ganderso/biology/resources/dilutions.html for more info and a diagram of serial dilution.

You can add your liquid (alcohol, etc) to your original culture.
