i think a smile is something that we got from our ancestors who would make a face that shows pain if they saw something painfully funny or if they saw a stranger they would make the face of pain to show they are in pain and not a threat.

Everything!!! To someone who needs to see one.I work in a hospital and a smile can change the way a patient feels.Seeing a smiling face come into the room makes the patient feel like someone really cares and eases their fears,especially to children.A hospital can be a very scary place to a child anyway.But to see a nurse come into the room with a smile on her/his face,makes their day a little brighter..So, no matter what kind of day you are having,put a smile on your face.You never know who might be needing one,and the returns are Priceless!!

A smile could be the difference between someone having a good day or a bad day. I work in the shipping department and you wouldn't believe how many drivers tell me they look forward to a smiling face during the day. Your attitude affects those around you so smile and make it contagious.

Have you ever heard that sang, "its better to give than to receive", because my teachers tell me that all the time. If someone is having a bad day, and you smile at them, it can lighten up their day. Doesn't that feel good, to knwo that you impacted someone's life?
