I didnt like mine when I was a kid. My name is Genya and I would always be called Jenya or Jenna. No one would get it is a hard G like Gary. It annoyed me! Now as an adult I like it bec it is different and no one else has it. In HS I had like 5 friends all names Jennifer and I always thought that sucked bec they all had the same name. I like mine now. :)

I guess so, I didn't like it when I was younger and in school cause there was two guys in my group of friends named Shannon, so I caught a little hell

yes... it's nice, femenine, not common, sounds nice in both english & spanish ..... the only thing that bothers me is when people are like "have you heard that simon & garfunkel song ... " ... then they start singing it ......... after awhile it just gets annoying
