You're over thinking it too much, seal your driveway before winter. Because parking on the street, you are risking having your car hit by the plow truck, and even if it doesn't get hit.. it will continually get buried by the drifts the plow creates.

You can do that but it is of little concern. Concrete holds up well to salt. I am just thinking that road clearing equipment can't do a proper job on the street. In some areas it is mandatory that you take your car off the street. I would think with snow you have on your driveway would dilute the salt concentrations even further. I personally would not be concerned.

I really don't believe that it's your desire to park on the street when you can use your own driveway, it's not to late in the season to seal your driveway. Buy enough concrete sealer to cover the driveway (you apply it with a garden sprayer). before you begin you will have to pressure wash the drive or clean it off with your garden hose, allow it to dry thoroughly and apply the sealer. Wait the recommended amount of time before driving or parking on the driveway.

If your driveway is new yes it is at risk of damage from road salt. If it is older no. But its a good idea to protect your driveway with a good concrete sealler.

You are over thinking it.
I worry more about my car getting plowed in because it's on the street and having to dig it out many times in a day.
I also worry about it being hit by other cars because it's on the street.

when it snows, cars should not be parked in the street, so snowplows can have full access to road so they can clear the roads.
