Being a married father, I apologize about 37.3 times per day.

I stopped using the word unless I mean it. In the retail business for years I would say "sorry, but we don't have that", and I wasn't sorry. One day I considered what sorry means, it's a serious word, and should only be used when one is actually sorry for something. Still people want to hear you say it, so now I have replaced it by saying "SURRY", which almost nobody notices the difference. Try it.

It seems like I am constantly apologizing, my bf says I am one of those people that say I'm sorry even if I didn't do anything wrong! I need to stop.

I apologize so much, that I don't even realize I am saying it. My boss counted one day how many times I actually said sorry in her presence and I said sorry over 30 times before lunch.

No way.. its a principle of mine never to apologise unless I mean it, so if you hear me say sorry its from the heart. And thats how it should be!

I never say it unless it is absolutly true and I mean it. Over using a word like that decreases its value. If you hear it from me, then I mean it.

Hello =)

100's of times a day...

Yes, it's something of a compulsion, I think....the willingness to take responsibility for everything that displeases everyone, and then apologize for it...really creepy.....I hate that about myself, really....

Namaste,

--Tom
