Yes. When I started school, I wanted to learn more about Family Law and be able to help victims of domestic abuse and teenage mothers and people that NEED legal help, but can't always afford or get it. I really looked up to this woman that had helped me out of a bad situation before and one day I saw her and told her what an inspiration she had been to me and that I was trying to get myself to a point where I could help others like she helped me and her only reply way "That's sweet and all, but the money sucks. You'd be better off going to beauty school."

Yep, i actually have. I always thought that "my ex rolemodel" was the person i looked up to. I thought they had all the answers, and were just perfect. Until i found out that they weren't. I was disapointed because I really wanted to trust that this person was someone i could rely on. Someone i wanted to be like when i grew up, But they too made wrong decisions. And it was wronger than wrong ( i know that didnt make to much sense ) Let's just say my rolemodel actually did something that i never would have guessed they do. But hey, i have a new rolemodel now. And I don't think they're perfect (i've learnt my lesson) but it's nice to have someone to look up to.

yes I have & it leaves you witha very empty feeling inside. I wish it wasn't that way but I'm glad I found out in spite of the hurt.

Ahh, the trap of expectations. You may admire people for who YOU KNOW they are, but you'll find it less painful if you stop expecting them to be who you WANT THEM to be.

Oh, and you MAY NOT blame them for YOUR expectations. That's the rule.
