you have to go to college first!!! the closest thing is an internship at a magazine or you could always create your own mag....who knows, it might be the next seventeen or teen people.

You need to write a resume, not ask dumb questions on the internet that you'd know if you were actually dedicated in doing it. Be a good journalist. Have a piece with your resume to give to your future reporter. Or start some crumby magazine yourself. No offense intended, but as a fellow 14y/o I know a lot of people who aren't committed to stuff like this; and I don't know you well to trust you to be able to publish a five page article on someone you'd never heard of. You wouldn't be able to just get info off the internet. You'll have to interview many people, not be some trashy rebel who angers a large amount of people, and you need to be good enough.
Well, Good Luck anyway, and kudos to ya if you make it.
Note: You might want to start out in the small pond with small fishes until you get noticed a little more. I apologize if I have offended you, but when there's a story, there's critics. Peace, ans that's all I got.

Submit Submit Submit!!! And READ Stephen Kings, "On Writing" he has some REALISTIC views on that very subject. (book can be bought at local bookstore or Amazon)
Learn the craft. Learn what the magazine's want, check out their writer's guidelines, see if you have a good enough story that they want and submit submit submit!!! And keep in mind rejection doesn't mean "you suck" it means keep on keepin' on!!! Good luck! ~joni
