No, I was born with my real fathers surname then mum got remarried when I was 4 and my surname changed to my step dads name. Then they divorced when I was 11 and it got changed to her maiden name now I'm married and now its my husbands last name

Nope, I changed it when I was 16 as it had horrible memories attached to it. I didn't do it by deed poll but most of my official documents are in my new name. My children have my chosen surname too.

Yes, and the only other people who ever had the same surname as me are dead and buried. (I have an unusual, hyphenated, surname)...

Good question. My last name has changed 4 times. My whole birth name was changed when I was adopted and I've been married twice.

yep! i am engaged but not keen on changing my surname to his because then ill be called the same thing as his mum, yuk!
