First apply your foundation (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15107&PRODUCT_ID=PROD9799)all over your face, into your hairline, and below your jawline, using a brush(http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15084&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1414). Then apply conceler (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15106&PRODUCT_ID=PROD9800)on problem area such as blemishes and dark eyes if needed. Finish with a powder( http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15107&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1379) using a brush to dust of excess.(http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15084&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1523)

Make sure that your makeup matches your skin and that it is not too light or too dark. You should go to a makeup artist counter such as MAC to get the exact match.

Concealer can also be used to cover up any blemishes on the skin... It is not necessary to use any foundation or anything after the concealer as long as it matches your skin tone and is blended in well, however if you want a completely flawless complexion then use foundation as well. I dont tend to use powder, as i feel it sometimes makes your skin look cakey.. but i guess it depends on which brand you use, and the skin type that you have.

Hope i helped :)

Foundation is just for your face enitrely where it's need, for scar, blemishes, etc. You can you is under your eyes, and Lancombe has a special type of makeup that comes together in pink and green and I know that soinds wierd but your put it on dark and light spots to make them go away. That would include under your eyes. Concealer is only for small areas, zits, pimples, and so on. For any powders sponge pads work well, same as for foundation. You can find those in pharmacies and target/walmart/etc.

make-up artist at the bobbi brown counter at nordstroms told me that first you should apply your foundation product (if you needed it to even out skin tone). Then you apply concealer product wherever you have dark spots you wish to camoflauge. I usually apply with my finger tip and dab it into the skn. Then finish with a dusting of translucent powder to set everything.
