Michael Jordan is commonly named as the best player, but Wilt Chamberlain is definitely up there as well. Also, look back at the stats for Oscar Robertson, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Julius Erving, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek, George Mikan, Karl Malone and John Stockton.

My personal opinion for all-time lineup:
C - Wilt Chamberlain
PF - Larry Bird
SF - Oscar Robertson
SG - Michael Jordan
PG - John Stockton

Larry Bird was the most complete player of all time, HANDS DOWN!

Right behind Bird are Wilt, Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson and Kareem.

Michael Jordan is somewhere around number 10-12

The Big "O". Oscar Robertson. The only man in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season. And he almost did it again four other times in his career. Amazing!!

Its Michael Jordan. He is the face of the NBA. Did you know before Jordan played Basketball, the NBA was expected to go bankrupt in a couple of years. When MJ came, the fans came to watch and he saved the life of the NBA

Without a doubt it's Michael Jordan... and I'd give Winter Storm above me the "best answer" (good job!).
