at the moment no. however ronaldinho, robinho and kaka are still young and they have many years left in their careers. and down the road we know there will definitly be more great players coming out of brazil

Many old Brazilians will tell you that Garrincha was a better player than Pele. Watch some old Movie of him on Google Video and look at the defenders just wait in terror for him to go right by them like they were not even there.

People are going crazy over Robinho now, they are all saying he will be the next Pele; but hekk no, Pele was the greatest and will always be the greatest. He was not only great in skill and technique, but personality. Hes a true champion, and finding a godly player with an even godlier character is impossible to find these days.

People have to understand that Pele was a superstar amongst superstars. He performed incredibly at the highest stage, the World Cup. When you can make the world's best players look silly at any given time "greatness has arrived".
There will never be another Pele.

I think Ronaldinho is very comparable -it amazes me to see him playing, he is awesome, an artist with the ball. Definitely, the best player of today's soccer.
However, Pele was always the star of every game he played. Fans of both playing teams would leave stadiums still in awe, after such a spectacular match. For Pele, there was no such thing as a bad performance in any game ever. By far, he is the best player ever.
Soccer was different then: players played with passion, they gave themselves for the love of the game. Today, it seems like money talks louder, and players are more concerned about what's coming their way.

I did see Ronaldhino playing and I think technically he is the best in the business but as a whole player there is no player that can stand next to Pele

everybody says that "Ronaldinho is the best player." yea he is the best now,but there is no way that he is better than Pele. Pele is a league.

in the time of pele it wasnt football lol it was like unorganised play
