Although I have yet to experience complete silence ( I have quite the house full of teenagers), as silence is defined as the absence of sound, then no, silence does not have a sound.

Think of it this way. If you are deaf, do you hear silence? No, you don't hear anything!

It really depends what you mean by sound.

If you define silence as the absence of sound waves/particles then no, silence does not have a sound.

However, since you posted this in philosophy instead of science, I will assume that you are not refering to just sound waves. I will assume that you are refering to sound as a subjective experience. In this case, yes, silence does have a sound. The human brain, when the human body is placed in a sensory deprivation tank, will generate its own auditory (as well as visual) hallucinations. Subjectively, these auditory hallucinations are the same as when the ears are stimulated by sound waves.

Real strength is not what the physical eyes perceive. Real strength is the inner strength, the true self of the being. And the secret to this is the inner stability or sthirta. Strength is a very deep and subtle concept and is not just about physical appearance.

It is that which is sthir, which is silent, is pure energy. Just by the strength of one’s sthirta one develops the capacity to draw any kind of force inside.

We now give you an intense and very effective technique for building the real strength which is all about maintaining inner silence, the technique of “Sound of the Inner Void.”

Sound of the Inner Void:
Start with the Guru Vandana as your Guru is the only energy which can take you beyond your limited senses and your physical limitations. Then sit in a comfortable position with your back straight and keep your eyes closed. Try and listen to every sound around you. Try and be aware of the sound of birds chirping, the sound of the fan, and each and every sound around you.

Slowly from your surroundings move inwards to your physical body and the organs. Try and hear the sounds inside of each and every organ. As you will slowly draw your self inwards you will discover that each organ has its own distinct sound. Slowly even that sound goes away and there is complete silence. As you experience this silence gently become aware of soft whitish pink light all within and all around filling up the entire universe and just let go in this whitish pink light.

After some time return back into your physical entering your body from the Ajna, the point right in the centre of your eyebrows. Slowly familiarize yourself with each and every part of your body, of each and every organ and each and every cell in your body.

Then slowly doing your shantipath and Guru vandana open your eyes slowly looking at the centre of your palms and then your physical body.

A regular practice of this technique of Sound of the Inner Void helps you experience immense peace and calmness and strength within you with an improved clarity of thoughts. This kriya brings about strength and sthirta at all planes.

Well, no. Silence is the complete absence of sound. If it had sound it'd no longer be silence.
