I am tired, I have a non-stop headache, and nasuea. Everything I think about eating makes me sick. I'm drinking ginger ale and eating what I can. I have to go to work tommorrow, and I don't want to use my sick leave now, is there anything I can do to feel better and well enough to make it through work days in the coming weeks?

I am 29 weeks and puking is second nature now. You just get used to it. Some women feel better taking Phergan, but it knocks you out and it actually made me sicker! Just try drinking hot tea (not too strong, though) and eating saltines and get plenty of rest when you're not working. All the "miracle" stuff like lollipops, accupunture, etc. didn't work for me, so don't waste your money! A lot of women feel better at the 2nd trimester, but if you don't just think about the beautiful baby growing inside of you! GOOD LUCK!

Well first of all CONGRAGULATIONS!!!!!!!! I can totally imagin how you feel i am a mother of two and both of my pregnancies were just like that. well one thing you can do is take a long cold shower maybe with a citrus smell soap it awakens your senses and your skin and you can also get active. Girl i know it's hard but you should at least try. Try working out maybe walking around the house may help, walking to a beat will be much better and take your mind off of the things that bring you down and think about the joy that you are going to experience when your baby arrives........... you can sing to your baby ect. good luck girl it's not easy but try.......i wish you the best and enjoy every moment of your pregnancy you are going to miss it when it's over

Drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest is about all you can do right now. This will pass eventually. Drink fluids like V8--it has a lot of vitamins and minerals that you need right there. The servings of vegetables that you are getting gives you that added bit of energy. I know food is the furthest thing from your mind right now, just hang in there and drink all the fluids you can. Carnation Instant Breakfast is a good source of calcium and nutrition also.

Don't be hard on yourself, your body is going through a lot of changes. For my first 3 months, I didn't blow dry my hair or use makeup. I made sure I drank plenty of fluids and I'd nibble on saltine crackers and ate a lot of sherbert!

Good Luck!!

So sorry, this is early pregnancy, though. I'm afraid this is quite typical. If hard candy doesn't help or makes you more nauseated, try saltine crackers -- very often throughout the day. Also, be sure that you're not losing weight. If so, report that to your Dr. because they can give you medicine for the nausea, but they usually don't unless it's a really bad problem for fear of harm to the baby.

I was the same way. I was miserable! The only thing that helped me was sleeping as much as I could.....and trying to relax. I ate crackers and ginger ale for weeks too. The good thing was that it didn't last that long and by 10 weeks I was way better. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon. Good luck to you and congrats on your baby!

Both my pregnancies I was so sick I couldn't work, there really is no cure.

I tried everything, my doc recommended emergen-c and a rub on progesterone hormone cream to rub on my forehead for headaches, i guess for some women it works but not for me.

talk to your doc for more suggestions.

I had to spend months in front of the ac on my bed.

You should feel better by 5 months

Zofran is good, not phenagran because that will make you even more sleepy. When you feel sick try sucking on a peppermint, this is a natural stomach soother. Good luck and remember, this too shall pass.

You can ask your dr for Zofran or Phenergan for the nausea.
As for the tiredness you just need to drink lots of water, take your prenatals and a Vitamin C supplement along with it and rest as much as you can!

JOLLY RANCHERS...LOL im about 9 weeks now and hard candy definitely takes your mind off and eases morning sickness. And try not to work too quickly. You'll get dizzy and it'll bring up the hurling feelings. Also try to avoid being around food smells. Ech they bug the hell out of me...
