How does the question censor work? Is it a team of people or just a computer with words and phrases that it bleeps out?

Most ( All ) questions come to the attention of the censors if someone reports you. If someone is offended by your question ( Even if it a great question ) and/Or they don't like you for some reason you will be reported to the censors and your question will be deleted. ( Happens to us all ) Nothing one can do about it. The censors don't read the questions due to over 2 million questions on this answer forum so they just delete and cost you 10 points. It's really no big deal to lose 10 points. All I can say is hang in there and keep learning.

Certain words are automatically turned into **** regardless of context. I posted an answer referring to a male bird, using a word that is normal in this context, and it turned into asterisks. I attempted to post a question about a Latin phrase, and the Latin word for "with" is spelled the same as an "adult" word in English, so it was turned into "***." I assume you can't use the normal word for wild donkeys either.
