Would you rather be rich and alone (romantically) or in love & homeless?

rich and alone, my happiness is not determined by my partner, I don't need a man to be happy so why not take the money and enjoy life with friends and family?

Since it's easier to save money without a significant other or children, I already made this choice. When I was in college, I decided to be a bachelor for life. I gave up on dating and relationships because of the stupid games people play, and because serving my own life I could be sure of my own future. A woman can make up her mind to leave you, but your bank account pretty much stays put unless you spend it all.

Unfortunately when I met my wife, I had to throw that plan out the window.

So intellectually, I chose to be rich(er) and alone.

Emotionally, however, I had no choice at all.

Rich and alone. love doesnt pay bills or put food on a table. Being rich I could at least find distractions for my alone-ness.
