Put an open dot on (-2,0) and make a dotted line going straight up and down. Then put another open dot on (4,0) and put another dotted line going straight up and down. Shade the area between them. Tada!

on a coordinate plane put a dotted line through (-2,0) and another line through (4,0) (dotted lines because the sign is less than not equal to) Since z must be greater than -2, start at -2 and shade all the way to the right. Since z must be less than4, start and 4 and shade all the way to the left. The area where the two shades intersect is the solution.
