Siding cleaning--HELP!?

Question

I asked before how to clean steel siding that is coated and looks like wood grain. I got a couple of answers, but none of them worked. I really need help (the siding looks awful). Please, anyone that knows anything about siding, and cleaning it let me know

Pressure washing it maybe?

A pressure washer that has a chemical injector might be your best bet. The chemical injector allows for liquid cleaners to be sprayed over the areas that need cleaning, which allow for more agressive cleaning of the surface.

When you rent it, make sure you are shown the different wand tips, and what they are used for.

Would be nice to know what it is that you are trying to get off. If it is steel(I doubt it), your discription sounds more like alunimum siding.... If it is greasy you need to first wipe that off with varsol or paint thinner....then use soapy water to wash off the varsol. If it is just dirt, water with soap(like washing the car) and go at her. Pressure washer with soapy water will do it faster but you can use a mop too....or a big rag. I wash off most of them just with the water hose. cause that is all that is up there, road dust.

well, i didn't see the post so i don't know what you are trying to clean off of it. i can say wash it, scrub it with a long handle brush like a car wash brush, have it power washed..... without more to go on, i can't answer you so you can clean what it is that you are trying to clean off of it. so , try posting your problem again.

DEPENDING ON THE CONDITION OF THE WOOD, PRESSURE WASHING MY BLOW CHUNK OUT OF THE SIDING....
DECK CLEANER AT HOME DEPOT - IS SODIUM HYPOCLORITE! - LYE & CLOROX.... YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN, WET SIDING & SPRAY IT ON & WATCH THE GOO GO!
