when milk was delivered to our house and the peddler came by once a week.
when we didn't have a phone and when we got one, we were on a partyline with 4 people.
when we didn't have indoor plumbing.
when on Sat. and Sun. we left the food on the table covered with a cloth until suppertime.
when kids had manners and chores and men treated women with respect.
when the only time we got toys was for our birthday and Christmas, not every time we went to town and we didn't pitch a fit either cause we got our butts tore up when we got home.
