it seems to be only on the trees on 1 side of the yard.that spot gets the most sunlight.it'snot every leaf, but i'd say 60%.

Sounds like they might be a little sunburned. If they were moved from an area of filtered light to full hot sunlight this can happen. Hopefully new leaves will grow in that are acclimated to their new spot.
I had 100 year old oak trees get sunburned last summer (cental california) in a 3 day heat spell we had. This has not happened ever before that I have noticed. It was really hot! I can still see the burned leaves although new foliage is starting to grow in...

Hi, I'm assuming your talking about a Ficus Benjamina,or Weeping Fig. Ficus species do best in bright indirect or filtered sun light.Their not to happy with full sun. Also a newley planted Ficus should not be fertalized for six to eight months . You can however, put some "Quick Start" in with them,to prevent transplant shock.

I have hundreds of ficus in my yard. Ficus do not like to be trans planted or moved. Typically they will lose leaves or turn some brown when moved. Even a potted ficus will drop leaves when moved to a different location. Ficus are EXTREMELY hardy. Be patient....
