Can't someone in the office where you work help you with that?

I file WC claims for a doctor
1) report to the company of the injury as I assume you did
2) have them put it in writing they have no light duty job available for you to do as the doctor said ..tell them doctor needs it...
3) be sure to get your work excuses from your doctor and make copies of them before you turn them in to the company.....and keep in touch with the company as to whats going on ...make notes of calls to them

Contact Human Resources in your company. They will have all the necessary information.

Did you let your employer know you were hurt at work ? That's the first thing you should have done.
