My husband and I made love today, but I suspected that he wasn't enjoying it as much as he let on. I saw his condom in the garbage after we finished, and I looked at it to see how much fluid was in it, and there was really hardly any at all. If he finishes on my chest, there always seems to be plenty... we are hoping to start a family in the next year, and I am concerned that maybe he isn't ejaculating as much as he should be, or was he just faking today? Guys, how much fluid is 'normal'? I'm not looking for a sperm count - but like a teaspoon? A tablespoon? How much?

Do you ever feel that you've finished, but your condom is next to empty? I was with him all day yesterday and he didn't masturbate, so I know that isn't the issue.

Anywhere from 1 teaspoonful (5ml) more or less is normal. Anyway, the term you mean is semen, not sperm. Sperm are microscopic, semen is the fluid in which the sperm swim.

Ignore all the boasters and women who are guessing. The normal male ejaculation is approximately 10cc or two teaspoonsful of semen. That is if ejaculation is taking place once every day. If the man ejaculates more often the quantity will be less and vice versa - from a few drops if ejaculation has occured within a short time, to perhaps as much as a tablespoonful after a long period of abstinence.

A tablespoon is a normal amount.
If he goes several days or longer without ejaculating, it will be more.
If he ejaculates every day or more, it will be less.

Unless you were with him every second, including the shower and when he went to the bathroom, you don't know if he masturbated. More likely, though, he was just tired or feeling ill.

Maybe he was tired, something on his mind, bills, a wife thats worrying about how much sperm will be in his condom... Actually it happens to every guy. Best thing is not to put more pressure on the guy. Remember only one sperm cell is needed.

You really need to get over this. Does he spend time asking you questions about your orgasm? And going through his used condoms - OMG! Just leave the poor man alone. If he isn't having fun in bed he'll let you know.

actually it can vary greatly depending upon how much he was stimulated, what his mental state is and stress and things like that. don't worry about it - it only takes 1 sperm to get pregnant all the others are suicide bombers

More than a table spoon for me. But then everyone is different. Is he apprehensive about starting a family? Are you sure he's not spanking the monkey in the bathroom when he goes pee?
