I have read that some women faint around the time of their period. Also, women have smaller blood vessels, and this may account for differences in blood pressure.

Like most things, it depends

Some men just faint everyday all the time. Some women just faint everyday all the time. It depends what makes them faint. If you faint when you see blood, and you are a nurse, then of course you faint a lot.

Sooo obvious. Of course women do! Men do some of the hardest most dangerous jobs. Take construction for example, men can't faint while working on a 40 story building. Women will faint for anything.

I am a woman, yet I have never fainted in my life. Have you mentioned this problem to your doctor? You may have low blood pressure problems, which can be further exaceberated by dehydration or inadequate exercise. I would look into it; fainting isn't normal.
