1. I think that some make-up's trap oil on your skin and can cause break outs. Always make sure to wash your face once, and if if possible twice a day, with mild soap like dove, neutrogena, or another soap made for the face.

2. I think if it's not overdone, guys don't like to date clowns. I use enough to even out my skin tone, and cover up any imperfections.

3. Yes, mint toothpaste does dry out the pimple, also visine takes the red out of the pimple. (don't use gel type toothpastes, they are just yucky)

4. It does make your skin feel softer, keeping away pimples, and the smell of it are questionable to me.
I would give it a 5, from my own experience. But you know what for $20, it's at least worth a try. Also be wary of their automatic delivery, they didn't send me the second shipment, but they charged my credit card. I called them and told them that I hadn't received the 2nd one, and then after that they sent me one so that they could keep the shipping and handling charge......sneaky.

1. Good makeup will not cause pimples.
2. Some do, some don't!
3. Using a quality skincare products, using them morning and night on a consistent basis and making sure to moisturize your face will help to reduce or eliminate pimples.
4. Proactive is okay, but they do not encourage using a moisturizer which will often over dry your face causing your body to produce more oil to overcome the dryness the Proactive caused.
Use a moisturizer with your kit or use the Classic Skincare set or TimeWise skincare set from Mary Kay with their Acne Cream.

I have had acne from the time I was 12 until just this past year when I turned 24. After trying every acne "miracle" out there and prescription medicines that made it worse, I got clued into Mary Kay products. My face cleared up in just two weeks of using it! I loved their face washes and oil free makeup and moisturizers so much that I now sell them!

Good luck and remember, consistency with using any products is key. If you are drying out your face with acne medicine, use an oil free moisturizer so that you add the moisture instead of letting your body produce the oil for you!

Makeup in general can cause pimples if you are not watching what you use... Your makeup should be hypoallerginic & light weight. Cleansing your face properly plays a major part in break outs! Guys are sometimes more attracted to the more polished look a woman has when she wears makeup properly. Tooth paset is not a cure for pimples! A home remedy you can try is crushing an asprin mixing with a few drops of water. This paste will help heal a pimple but is not a poreventative for new ones if your not cleansing properly. Proactive is good but I have found a line I like better called Clear Reflections by Paris RX. You can check it out http://www.naomisnews.parisrx.com/

some make up can cause pimples..get oil free make up to reduce this chance..

i'm not a guy so i dunno...

it doesn't really help the pimple go away, just reduces the red..

and i rate it a 7... it's good but it takes a while for it to start working and once you stop using it your skin goes back to how it used to be..

3. Have tryed it out before but didnt work. Although some of my friends say it does.
