I watched both Pirates of the Caribean and completly understould the 1st one . But I didnt exactly understand the 2nd movie ecpecially the ending. What did the heart represent? And i dont understand the ending of the 2nd movie.

they ended the movie that way because it is just a set-up for the third movie (At World's End that is set to be released May 25). The heart represents a lot of different stuff.
here's why everyone wanted the heart:
-Capt. Jack wanted it because he wanted to be free of his debt to Davy Jones and he wants to be powerful (and whoever has the heart of Davy Jones has the power to control Davy Jones, the kraken, and ultimately the sea).
-Will wanted it so that he could save his father from Davy Jone's crew
-Pintel and Ragetti wanted it because they wanted to be rich pirates and they thought the heart might be worth something because everyone was fighting over it
-James Norrington wanted it so that he could regain his high position in the royal navy
-Lord Beckett wanted it because he wanted to control the seas, rid the world of piracy forever, and make the East India Trading Co. the most powerful in the world
-Davy Jones wanted it because...well...it's his heart!
and what exactly is it that you don't get about the ending? the ended the movie the way they did because it's setting up for the next film. let's see, i'll try to explain:
norrington took the heart and gave it to beckett therefore giving beckett much power that will play a major role in the next movie.
capt. jack was eaten by the kraken. simple enough.
Will saw elizabeth kissing capt. jack which could lead to a possible break-up between them. i can't wait to find out.
Barbossa walks down at the very end so that he can help Will and elizabeth find and save capt. jack. that can be confusing because he was supposed to be dead after the first one! but what i think is that Tia Dalma brought Barbossa back to life because she can see into the future and knew that capt. jack would be eaten by the kraken and knew that Barbossa would need to save him.

The Heart was Davy Jones's. At the end of the Pirates 2 movie, it showed the captain of the black pearl coming back. This sets up the Pirates 3 movie. Im guessing that in the pirates 3 movie, they go on the ship with the captain of the black pearl, and stop davy jones forever.

Captain Jack Sparrow has been swallowed by the Kraken. Former Commodore Norrington has delivered Davy Jones heart (and the power of the sea) to the new Commodore. Elizabeth, William, and members of the crew are back up the river with the mysterious black magic lady. And Captain Barbossa comes down the stairs (and back from the dead?) to lead them to find Captain Jack. Oh, and at the end of the credits, the dog is now the king of the cannibal tribe.

What Mark did Jack leave on Beckett?
What was in the vial Jack stole from Tia Dalma?
What was valuable about the ring he stole?
Why was the heart shaped music box on Davy Jones' organ just like a pendant on Tia Dalma's table?
Who broke Davy Jones' heart?
What is Tia Dalma's relationship with Barbossa?
How did Barbossa come back to life and is that how they bring back Jack?
According to the writer's commentary, Tia Dalma is going to be much more important in the third film when we find out that she had a vested interest in keeping Jack Sparrow alive.

The heart is the heart of Davie Jones, which he cut out so that he couldn't feel anymore.
And the ending was that everyone is going to try and get Jack back, and their capitain of the ship will be the Cpt. from the Black Pearl from the first movie.

The heart is Davy Jones' heart. He cut it out so that he would no longer feel, and therefore making himself immortal. He knew that who/whatever controlled his heart would control him. The ending is left wide open for the 3rd movie to come out (making Disney oodles and oodles of money) and (hopefully) tie up all the loose ends.

it is davy jones' heart and he cut it out so that he wouldnt be sad about losing his love.. they were all fighting over it becuase they wanted it for different reasons... wait for the last movie though it will probablly help you to understand the 2nd one
