my friend moved a year and a half ago from spanish fort alabama to key largo flordia every time i talk to her online i feel like shes avoiding me what should i do

im sorry to tell you but it sounds like she's moved on. since you guys can't hang out shes slowly letting go of your friendship. talk to her about how you feel and do tons of fun stuff to rekindle that friendship. if you guys are great friends, then the friendship won't be lost.

Have you ever corresponded online before or was it always face to face and over the phone. Sometimes it takes people a while to settle into this mode of communication. It can be hard to express what you are feeling... especially when you are so used to picking up on her body language... give it time.

i wouldn't try to push anything. if nothing else, use what your parents told you to do and ignore them for a while. time is really the only thing...i wouldn't say be totally unavailable. but through im. although you may want to answer right away give it a minute or two. once in a while you might even forget to answer all together and get off.
distance is the only thing that will show you if they are a true friend or not.
