I'd like to find a site that offers some legal MP3 downloads with new artists (I especially enjoy dance music). Any suggestions?

Limewire itself is not illegal, but downloading copyrighted without paying for it is.
I would first try the artist or promoters own website. Many new artists will put free mp3 on their sites as a way of getting their music out there and to the people. Even some large, successful artist do this.
there are many sites that will let you legally download song, and plenty of them where you can do it for much less than $0.99 USD per track.
Laws vary from country to country regarding copyright material.

limewire and kazaa are free, itunes has good quality songs, and so does napster. if you're not so sure about the free goods like limewire and kazaa, yahoo music has the best deal.

I use itunes, 99 cents a song
Limewire isn't legal, plus it's full of viruses.
