I have a 2003 Windstar. It is vibrating a lot, less at slower speeds and over 65 mph. We replaced the rotors and pads and the car continues to vibrate. Any suggestions?

Was your vehicle involved in an automobile accident? The wheels may need to be aligned. The brake calipers might be loose.

it could be a bad wheel bearing for the moaning noise. and some tires are prone making road noise. The vibration issue usually means 2 things the Tire is out of balance or the Alignment is off.

have you been able to run your hand over the tire? check for bulging and any unusual deformation of the tire itself. From what it sounds like you have a front wheel bearing failing. The easiest way to determine if this is the case raise and support the front end and grab the wheel top and bottom and attempt to wiggle the tire and wheel assembly and see if there is any movement and if so identify what and where and work your way to the problem.

if it is a rear wheel drive car it could be the transmition mount when you accelerate it allows the trany to move slightly to one side and the ujoint will hit the seatbelt bolt or something else under the car you also have some other prety good answers also if this is the problem the mount should be no more than $20.00 and its not a big job to fix but if thats the problem it could wear through the drive shaft and cost a hole lot more good luck

Sounds like either your bearings are going out, or maybe even your CV joint.
Or, it could simply be that your tires need balancing or changing.
You didn't say when it happens, like does it happen during acceleration, cruising, or braking?

to me this sounds like a tire balance issue. I would start with that and take the van to a Tire shop and have them rotate and balance the tires.

good luck

You need to balance your tires. Also, check your bearings. Regrease them. Check all your joints. add grease. But more then likely you need to rotate you tires. Also get an alignment.
