Nope, it should come down to a last play in the playoffs. Besides, that one interception where he tipped the ball to his teammate was Pass Interference, as he used the receiver to boost himself to the ball.
But last second plays are what make playoff football decent.

I am just a football fan, so I don't know how much my input will be taken into account.
It really should not have come down to a bad kicking play. Anyone who says it all comes down to that clearly was not watching the same game I was. That was not the last possession of the game for the Cowboys. Seattle was forced to punt and gave the ball back with a small amount of time left. It was clearly the best chance they had, but it was not the last chance.
Dallas has had team problems all year. It started early in the year when Romo looked good in pre-season and after the first game there was talk about sitting Bledsoe down and putting Romo in as the QB of Dallas's future. The TO circus was no help. The defence was weak throughout most of the season. The week 17 loss to Detroit did no one any good as it set a bad tone going into the playoffs for Dallas, and blew Detroit's chance at a #1 pick. I would have to go back and look, but I thought Detroit had the tie-breaker against Oakland going into Week 17.
I don't think Parcell's heart is in it anymore either. He has coached for a long time, and before he even took the Dallas job he had said he had coached his last game. I expect him to step down this week.
It was a team that had a slow fuse all year long. There failure to execute against Seattle started in the pre-season, much the same way Denver's failure to make the playoffs started in the pre-season. And I am a Denver fan.
My opinion on Dallas is similar to my opinion on Denver and what it will take to win. Make good choices with players who have been in the league 5-8 years as free agents, and get lucky in the draft. Dallas is still flirting with a 2 back system, which really doesn't work well under most situations. Dallas can't figure out what to do about receivers. They dump Keyshawn right when he finally begins to calm down and become a decent receiver and pick up a head case named TO. Their defense can be very pourous.
I understand that big names get butts in seats, however, that is more of a small market, team not doing so well tactic. Take New Orleans. They got a few big names, and people started to come. That they started to win was secondary. People wanted to go see their Saints for a couple of reasons, them winning was not one of them. The Aint's haven't been a winning team until this year. Dallas, on the other hand, can put butts in the seats because their name is The Dallas Cowbows. You don't need to get a big name player. You get good players and the big name arises on its own. Dallas fan should go, "Who the bleep is that guy?" when someone starts to make a name for themselves.
Too many management mistakes are being made setting up an impossible situation that usually comes unraveled at a critical moment. This moment happened to be the Wild Card Game for Dallas.

As much As I would have loved to see the cowboys win Saturday night, They Have had a fairly good season, with a winning season, even though it was mediocre @ 9-7, Romo did what he could turn turn a botched snap into a fighting chance to win. Next season, Dallas has alot more to look forward to with Romo at QB, they just have to work on a few things, better run Offense & Pass protection although they had a good deal of sucess, defineatly has room for improvement. Although Romo has made mistakes, he will be much better for his experiences this season, and be much more effective in the 07-08 season. Before ranking on his mistakes, let's give the guy some credit for all that he has made efforts to win since he started at half time against the Giants. Romo has great potiential for next season, and the defense should have Greg Ellis back too, I think they had a good season, even with their mistakes and bumbles, they will be a team to watch out for next year, let us concentrate on the success they had, and support their efforts to improve rather than bashing them in unsportsman like behavior.
GO COWBOYS!!!

Ouch, you really are die hard aren't you?
You have to look at the replay as well. Gramatica could have blocked a defender but all he did was give him a nudge. That defender Gramatica nudged happened to be the one who tackled Romo and saved the play.
Also, you can't blame Romo for misshandling the ball. He did the next best possible thing. He brought you guys this far didn't he? Give him some grats. Hes only started 10 games in his whole entire career.
Give the kid another shot. Cowboys (stats wise) wouldn't even be in the playoffs if it wasn't for Romo.
Just be happy you got a QB that can move now, and has learned from his first years mistakes.

If it comes down to one play, you deserve to lose...
It should have not come down to that one play. I am a Steelers fan. The Cowboys were dominating. There were lots of mistakes that were made that could have kept the birds at bay. I can't say much more than everyone else has already said. Grammatica could have tackled #27 to save the day but he only pushed him a little... That's was an intense game to watch though. The kickoff return for a touchdown was impressive... I always like seeing those.

Yea, a game is never really about one play, Im a redskins fan, but my dads a cowboys fan so i was watching and pulling for them cause of my dad, and i remember alot of dropped passes by all the receivers, not to mention blow coverages and overall confusion by the defense....Ware is the only good pass rusher they had because Greg Ellis is out this year, and Ware was frequently running out in coverage...whether defensive confusion was the cause for that or bad schemes, Ware has to be rushing the passer on passing downs.
I really think they should sign a sweet coverage safety and let roy williams play outside LB, the man is great in run support but struggles alot in coverage, just let him play LB and i think he will make a bigger impact.
#1 draft pick should prolly go either O line or D line...both were shotty at best this year.
But you are correct, Romo will probably blame himself no matter what anyone says, but it takes a team effort to lose just like it does to win
I really hope Romo gets his chance again next year because he shows alot of flashes of greatness

Bledsoe is better than him, they should have stuck it out with him. Romo is a flash in the pan. Bledsoe has played in 7 post season games and won 4 of them. Bledsoe would have picked apart the depleted secondary of Seattle.

They went out the way they were supposed to...theyre dysfunctional and until they fix the internal problems, theyre not going to win a playoff game, championship, whatever.
