Yes this is the first sign of vaginal discharge. You should be expecting your period to start soon. I suggest talking to a teacher, parent or a doctor about this. I have been at this stage too. I was scarewd as first as I am sure that you are but remember it is a part of life and exciting. You will most likely have your period by your 12th birthday. Congratulations! You are becoming a woman. Hope I am of help. E-mail me at ocdocie@yahoo.com if you want to talk about it. I have a sister, 12, who is going through the same thing!

Sweetie, that is a normal discharge.Discharge is good,it is the way the vagina cleans itself.A clear /colorless (white) discharge is very normal. The only time to be extremely worried about it is if it has a color or a horrid odor.Odor and color means an infection, however by the sounds of it you are healthy and nothing is wrong.Sometimes we females have "more" discharge when your period is coming on,and/or during ovulation. It isnt anything to worry about it is very healthy.Having said that,i am going to encourage you to speak to your mother or a trusted female figure about this. She has been where you are hun,and she can answer all the questions you may have.Open up that communication with her, that is something many teens lack is that relationship with their parents where they can speak openly, and ask questions.Once you speak to her about this, you can speak to her about anything throughout your teen years and into adulthood.Good luck and have a good evening.

They are mostly all correct, it's just a discharge. But, don't really expect your period to come. here's a reason why: my cousin had the same discharge from fourth to seventh grade(now)(she's 12) and has still yet to recieve her period, though mine has came I didn't get the discharge untill after my period began. Anyway, it's just the way your body is cleansing itself and keeping you healthy. And you should where the light pantyliners if you feel too uncomfortable w/ the discharge. If it becomes yellowish and REALLY funky or unusual smelling tell your mom or another adult you trust who can get your body up and working good again! good luck

It's called discharge... it's totally normal, and part of becoming a woman. You will find that it increases and drecreases throughout the month. It has nothing to do with your period.... it's just your vagina's cleaning system. If you find it yucky and uncomfortable, you could try wearing a pantyliner in your underwear.
You're becoming a woman.... there's so much more to come!!!

well that is called cervical disharge. it usually shows up months before your period starts, it could be even a year or so before your period starts. it is normal so dont worry. if it has a bad odor os is looking yellow or green that means you may have an infection. but what you have sounds normal so dont worry! you are just starting puberty. btu there is no telling when you will get your period. just keep some pads or pantyliners in your purse or backpack.
good luck!

It is just discharge. You will probably start your period soon. No one can give an exact date or time when it will happen, it just does. Be prepared. Talk to mom. Have some pads. It is all natural. Every girl/woman goes through it.

Its discharge its how the vagina cleans it self. It usually starts a year before your period. Start wearing pantyliners.
