i got this knitting set for xmas and i want to knit scraf and gloves and other stuff but do not know how to knit.Help plez thanks

There's a good tutorial at this link. BTW, knitting isn't just for old people! Ask one of your hipster friends to show you how to knit, she's just as likely to be a knitter as the old granny in answer #2.

There's all sorts of sites online that have videos that teach the basics of knitting.

Those are the two off the top of my head. But you can google knitting and get loads of pages to check out. Or go to your local yarn/craft store. More than likely, they have classes you can take as well.
