It is best to see your gynecologist of infertility specialist. If a D & C is warranted, the doctor will recommend it. He will not do it because you request it. Medical procedures must be documented as necessary due to insurance and legal issues. Chances are good that with the duration of your bleeding, a D & C will be recommended...after it is determined that it will help the situation.

Having a D & C will not harm your chances of getting pregnant. In fact, many times, it is a procedure performed during diagnosis of infertility. Please see your doctor asap.

Good luck!
