I would love to have a capuchin monkey. They are so bright and loving. I think they are illegal in the states though, without a zoo or wildlife preserve license.
I have seen many different sites offering them but they can cost around $1000-$3000. You have to get them as babies, bottle feed them and change diapers if you are keeping them as a pet because they normally stay with their mothers for the first 2-4 years of life and have all their needs met by them.
I have seen pictures of people who dress them in baby clothes, put them to sleep in a crib and basically treat them as substitute children. I don't feel this is mentally healthy for the monkey or the human. After all they are animals. They have certain needs that should be met in order for them to remain healthy and well balanced.
They are so cute and funny though. I would love to have one.

A skunk! Actually, people do keep these as pets. Trying to work at them being approved for domestication. They actually do meet the qualifications. Their anal glands can be removed at a young age so that they cannot spray.

An ARMADILLO! wait... we actually had one of those once...

I like chipmunks, which makes me sad because I haven't even seen one in like 8 years.
