No. Sometimes marriage starts to feel dull and routine. There's nothing wrong with chatting with anyone, whether it's in person, at work or online.

First and foremost. Would it bother you, if your mate talked to someone else online? I guess it really just depends on ones "feelings". Meaning, would it hurt you, if your mate talked to someone online more then talking to you? There has to be a trust between two people in a marriage. As long as you're being honest to your mate and not going agaist your wedding vows. Then I don't think you are doing anything wrong. BUT, Only YOU really know if what your "talks" with your online friend are about, if it's actually wrong or not! ~Best of Luck~

You should not have an emotional relationship with the person online. Save your most personal feelings for your spouse, or a friend of the same sex. If you feel that they are becoming more important than your spouse, take a break from them and work on your marriage.

I've seen many marriages break up because one partner is on the Internet and isn't tending to their marriage.

If you enjoy the on-line person more than your spouse, there's trouble brewing. Try putting that much effort into the person you committed yourself to. Things like this are exactly how people find themselves in bad situations where something "just happened" that they "never intended" to happen. But the truth is, you are slowly letting it happen.

It all depends on if this person is helping you grow in character, or if they are helping you destroy your character! There is little wrong with pen pals in the days before the Internet. Now, however, these Internet pen pals are responsible for more divorces than ever before. If your significant other is worried about this you may want to re-evaluate this contact! I mean you have to live with your spouse not this pen pal!

That depends - ask yourself if you would have the same conversation with your on-line friend if your spouse was sitting there listening?

That should answer your question.

Of course it is. It's called an emotional affair. Just ask youself, "If my husband was doing this same thing with another woman, would I be ok with it?"

It isnt wrong but could become a problem if you chat online more than you talk to your spouse.
