How do you invite a wolf to live with you in Sims2 Pets?

I have spent a lot of time building my relationship with a wolf that frequents my lot. Right now we're 100/76 for relationship and I still have no option for him to move in. Is it even possible?

The Sims Pets Guide that I have says that the leader of the pack wolf with the shining black eyes cannot be brought into your household.

u have to turn into a wolf like him first..

then ask him to move in
