This is Spooky - I was just talking to my wife about the Sky box... and thought what if they had a mic or camera in it....know how when you go to a say a Travel website and it holds your cookie next thing you know you have an email from loads of Travel companies.....Watch this space the Government will want one in all new TV's ...to spy on us.. Paranoid...no way...it could happen

Alright, Rockwell, I must warn you, if you have cable or satellite, they can see you, in a manner of speaking. Digital allows its providers to know what you are watching. Ever wonder how they know how many people tuned in to last week's episode of Desperate Housewives? It is not done by polls. Just like the internet, the hungry entrepreneurs are always trying to gather your info in order to find more useless crap to sell you or take up your time with. There's an up side to this, you are able to get more personalized programming and products you might actually want to purchase.

They can see you, isn't it obvious? They talk to you all the time. And when you go to bed they come out of the TV and raid your fridge. Hence the crumbs around the DVD player.
(HINT: why do you think no one has a TV in their bathroom?)
