You could also try listening to Solas (folk), Jose Gonzalez (acoustic), Corrine Bailey Rae (easy listening/jazz), Jamie Cullum (jazz), Oscar Peterson (jazz), The Prodigy (very early drum and bass), Metallica's S&M album is also very good - it's with an orchestra and puts a whole new perspective on their music.

well i love rock. i hate rap. anyway put people like Green Day, Evanescence, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Goo Goo Dolls (my sister like´s this band and she´s sixteen), The Fray. other bands like Cold Play i guess, singers= Natasha Benigfield and other stuff. i like these people. i only like two songs from Cold Play and that´s Clocks and Speed of Sound. i only like two songs from Goo Goo Dolls and that´s Iris (great song, highly recommended the other one is pretty good too) and Name. for classic rock, put Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd. the only rap artist i sort of like is Sean Paul. and it seriously depends on wat mood ur in and wat ur into.
