I cuurently have a system whereby i can access the internet through my tv. However it is not ideal for studying. I bought the above router but I'm struggling to connect it. Homechoice tv don't support products that is not provided by them and I've had no luck with Belkin.

I'm having problem with the configuration and internet status is constantly showing as o connection.Belkin tells me i need a username and password, Homechoice tells me i don't need one.

I would appreciate it please if someone can give me a step by step guide to configuring the router on my pc and ultimately connection to the net. Alternately is there another router that can be recommended that works with homechoice (self installaon)?

seems such as you the two have interference or a low selection. First, reboot the router by potential of unplugging it for 10 seconds. each and every so often it fixes the priority. positioned your on the spot router as extreme up as you are able to and as some distance from electric powered and metallic issues as you are able to, that'll provide you the terrific insurance. attempt to place it in the path of the place you anticipate to be (many times the middle of the homestead). in case you have 2.4GHz cordless telephones you are able to desire to to change them with 5.8GHz, 900MHz, or the recent DECT6.0 telephones that may not reason interference. additionally, on the spot video senders, or on the spot cameras that run on 2.4GHz could desire to be set to the farthest channel out of your router (e.g. set video sender to a million or A and positioned the router on channel 11). Channels a million, 6, and 11 are maximum advantageous because of the fact they do no longer "overlap" with one yet another. in case you nonetheless can no longer determine it out or the priority keeps coming back, call Belkin help. I did have one router go undesirable (the on the spot stored turning off or no longer connecting every day or so) yet Belkin sent me a replacment for unfastened as quickly as they desperate mine replaced into defective.
