I can tell by your question that A. the man in your life does not know that you are trying to get pregnant. and B. you are not ready to have a kid. Do us a favor and stay on birth control.

Speak with your doctor, but as long as you are taking the Yasmin your chances of getting pregnant are low. Your doctor may have some suggestions on helping you determine the best times for conception and methods of controlling the PMS. He may also put you on pre-natal vitamins to ensure your iron and folate levels are high enough to encourage a healthy baby.

On a side note it is entirely possible that after you have your baby your periods will be completely different than they are now. I know that mine are much more consistent and the PMS and cramps are more tolerable after having my son than they were before.

You are going to have to get off the birth control and find other means of helping you through the horror of pms. Birth control is just that controls you getting pregnant of course there are always chances but not very high ones. Sometimes you even have to be off the B/C for a while before your body gets back to normal and you can get pregnant. Talk to your OB about what you want she is really your best source.

Good luck

I'd say def. get off the pill if you want to get pregnant. BC is supposed to prevent pregnancy! So if in any case you do happen to get pregnant while on the pill you might run into complications during pregnancy. You should stop taking the pill for about 3 months before trying to get pregnant to be on the safe side.

You need to get of the pill first. I know its nice to have a period 4 times a year but if you want to get pregnant you will have to sacrifice. And once you do get pregnant, you wont have a period for more than 9 months....

If your periods are off maybe you should have some tests done to see if anything else is going on. But the BC should be stopped.

Staying on B/C will defeat your purpose of conceiving. Of course you should know that. Stop the B/C. If you don't come up pregnant in the next couple of months, then see your Gynecologist.
