yeah man your right. ive always been a huge nash fan, hes a perfect passer and has a great shot..i think he can average 30 and 10 easily.
AI is a better scorer because he takes more shots and is more selfish. if nash took as many shots as AI did he would average more points than him, simple as that.

I don't think either of those guys are out of their prime even now. Their games are timeless. Little guys aren't like highflyers and big men, who's bodies take a beating in the paint, or who's knees give out because of explosive leaping. As long as little guys can run, they're still effective. Nash is 3 years removed from the MVP, and Iverson is 2 years removed from being 2 or 3rd in the NBA in scoring. The reason we forget about these guys is because, since all of this theres been bigger news. Wade won a title Lebron has made it to the Finals and Cleveland's gotten better Kobe has an MVP and a championship Shaq has been traded twice Just because there are bigger headlines around the league, doesn't mean these guys have fallen off. They're just no longer the story... I agree with Rob K. Obviously Iverson is the better scorer, but Nash is the most efficient player, the only guy to ever shoot 50% from the field, 40% from 3 and 90% from the line on THREE occassions... even the great Larry Bird only accomplished this feat twice... Iverson is my favorite player, but I'd have to say I'd rather have Steve Nash on my team...I care more about winning than star power...

Let's put it this way. Allen Iverson is the more entertaining player. True, Nash can push the ball with the Phoenix Suns more, but if you're going by quickness, AI is still quicker, more athletic, etc., making it much more entertaining basketball. Also, while Nash may be the premier point guard in the NBA, AI is one of the premier showmen, which is what the All-Star game really is.
I still like Nash better than AI and think he's a better basketball player, but there is no denying that AI is flashier, therefore more suited to play in an All-Star game. But it doen't really matter because both are going to be in the All-Star game anyway.

i am a big a.i. fan, but i am also a big nash fan. the both can score, they both can shoot.and they both pass. nash is back to back mvp and a.i. is a used to be ball hog. iverson has really improved this season. he is passing the ball more and scoring more than he was last seaon. right now he is playing better than steve nash even though nash is still a harder worker than he is
