I told my close female friend that I needed time apart from her---not for good, only for a short while(time limit not set). Also asked her to be honest (for once) if she felt anything for me--wud she take this as me calling her a liar???
I had to get over my feelings for her as she only only wanted to be friends and said she "don't deserve my feelings".

It's been 1 month, I've tried to get in touch: by text\phone\sent a card+gift--have apologised for my behaviour, said that her friendship a lot to me -- no response from her yet...

How would a girl feel after hearing this???Hurt???Angry???

Will she ever speak to me again???

How long would she consider "no contact" as being for??? Will she ignore me for good???

Will she 'eventually' get in touch? A few months?

WHAT CAN I DO TO SHOW HER HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO ME+THE FRIENDSHIP???

A friend did something similar to me recently and so I can tell you from personal experience that it hurts really badly. The one big difference is that you do seem to care and want the friendship to work.If she means a lot to you, keep trying.Or maybe you could try seeing her in person,it might be easier that way.I wish you the best of luck, and I hope it turns out better than my friendship has

One thing is for sure - she likes you a lot more than she was prepared to admit at the time - and is most likely trying to sort herself out. The other thing is that she knows she has a friend in you now - and that is probably very important if she then accepts your advances and things go belly up - not only does she loose a boyfriend but also one of her best friends! She will come around you can mention that most successful relationships start off as close friendships that then develop into something deeper (as happened to me - married for + 17years now) - you both have to get over the fear of hurting each other as this will only leads to more pain on both sides.
Send her a teddy bear with an invitation to meet you at a public place + 1 friend - optional (in case she feels that she can't face you alone) - make the venue Neutral and make it clear it is a celebration of friendship - and then take it from there - good luck!

Often the chemistry of attraction is not mutual . . .
When someone knows the other person is into a more serious relationship than they are into . . . they believe it is best to minimize contact.
Your heart would be much happier if you freed up your time to meet someone where the draw is mutual.
After you have found your true soul mate , then maybe the old person could be a friend but you have too much energy to hang with a platonic friend that you REALLY want as a lover.
Seek your mutual compatible lover.

Sounds like you scared her....revealed too much for her to deal with.

Back off, and do nothing more than a card for B-day, X-mas, valentines, and "thinking of you" .
Put your phone # on the cards, with a note like "call when you are ready to be friends".
If she wants to start back being friends, she will---do NOT push.
Good luck...

girls are so much fun, huh? yeah...hurt, angry. she is probably feeling that just because she doesnt feel the same thing you do, that you do not value her friendship anymore. she probably wonders if everything in your friendship was a ploy to make it more. just show up at her door and make her understand that you cant let your friendship go like that.
