How could i lighten my birthmark without going to a doctor?

I have this dark birthmark on my leg, and i want to know how i could get rid of or lighten the birthmark???

WITHOUT CUTTING OR INJURING MY SELF!!

:) I was just reading about lightening the skin, including freckles in a book. I just returned them to the librayr, so I cant say which one though, Sorry!

Its worth a try if they do it to lighten freckes. It may or may not work.... PLUS, a benefit is that it is all natural, and not some nasty synthetic man made chemical like the other user wrote about. That stuff is terrible your your body, cause our skin absorbs it.

Some may sell it on ebay. Or, you can buy the dried flowers yourself from mountainroseherbs.com making flower water isnt hard, just search for "making elderberry flower water" "recipes for elderberry flower water." or something like that.

You could put foundation on it, probably the same one you might use on your face. Other than that, I would never cut,put harsh chemicals or anything like that. You also should keep an eye on any birthmarks or moles, if they change you might need to see a doctor.

Use Hydroquinone 8% twice a day. Check out Obagi Nu-derm. Use Clear (has 4%) and Sunfader has (4%). Removed my freckles in about 6 weeks.

You might try lemon juice. It is supposed to fade age spots, but not sure about birthmarks,
