I would have a chat with two or three friends about what it really means that "I believe my 27 year old daughter is head strong".

What does 'head strong' mean? Disobedient? (she is 27 after all).

Has she made life-choices that disappoint you or are different to what you expected? She's an adult the same as you and entitled to decide a lot of things herself, but bearing in mind how that can hurt you and the rest of the family.

Does it mean she does things almost anyone would disapprove of or think unwise (not just you)?

Are you interfering in her life too much or being over-opinionated? etc.

Do you show open dislike or dis-approval of people she values?

Does she/you react based on past arguments and issues rather than the present issues?

Are any arguments based on mis-understandings or untested assumptions, which could be cleared up by actually asking the other person to clarify what they mean before you react to it?

etc.

You might chew these sort or questions over with your friends or get your friends to come up with other similar questions as a written list.

I read somewhere that the basis of any good relationship is trust. Has she done something to breach your trust or vice versa, such as betray a confidence? Can you/her apologise and rebuild trust and friendship?

coming from a daughter with the same situation with her mother.....don't send her to thearpy and say that shes crazy. just stay out of her life and learn how to have a real conversation with her and stop telling her what to do because you legally can't anymore

i don't know. i'm not being rude but maybe you are both a little head strong. do you mean she will not take your advice? people (most) never do. they must learn from their own experiences. i'm very stubborn this way.
