I like the Patriots in this game. New England has a patient offense, and will work the clock, keeping San Diego's offense on the bench. San Diego appeared to be tailing off a bit at the end of the season and the Pats were surging. But the best reason to like the Patriots is Bill Belichick coaching against Marty Schottenheimer.

Patriots are tough. But the Chargers are tougher. The road to SB41 goes through San Diego for a reason. Tough game, but my Bolts will win.

Chargers because they are playing the best football by far in the AFC right now. The Pats looked pretty good today but the Jets are not the Chargers!

Definitely Chargers. Ladainian Tomlinson will run all over the Patriots defense, and Merriman will rip Brady's head off.

The last time these two teams met was last year. San Diego won 41-17 at New England. San Diedo is a much better team than last year and they are home with a week's rest.
You do the math.

Patriots are #5 against the Rush (94.2) against offenses that put up 111.1 yards rushing per game
San Diego is #2 Rush (161.1) against offenses that put up 122.23 yards rushing per game
SD puts up 33% more yards than teams usually allow
Patriots allow 15% less than teams usually get
That means SD should put up about 130 yards in this game.
Don't expect a first year starting QB to do much against the Pats.
This Equals another big time choke for the Chargers.

chargers hands down...the bgest running back to ever play football with the best tight end and that amazing line will outscore the pat's who hav been struggleing by at least 13
