What kind of money could I be making?
Also, would there be any reason to get a Phd. I guess I just dont understand what the fuss is about.

Each person can get any kind of job no matter of the master. It depends on self determination, experience and knowledge.
The master is one way to get it but not the only one.
First you should ask yourself what kind of job you want to get. Then ask if the master is good for achieving your goal.
Any kind of studies are good.. only if you will study what you like! not because you will earn more money!!! you can study whatever you wish but if you are bad at doing that... no money!
Look for happiness! to work in what you love to do. Then the money will come.
If you don't know what you really like to do, then you should start making something about it. Like trying different courses, getting feedback from friends, traveling, etc.

Am I the really human being who would not examine solutions by folk who don't have slightly blue guy next to them? besides, re: your question - the further extreme something is the a lot less extreme I take it. I easily have an inverted frame of mind. Funerals must be humorous, dammit! you should laugh about getting fired. inspite of the indisputable fact that, dropping the taxi receipt and dreading having to justify why you should get reimbursed $15 even if you do not have a receipt - it truly is what keeps me up at evening.
