HONESTLY!! I do, not b/c I'm shallow, but b/c if you aren't beautiful now-a-days, you don't matter in the world, What do you think, do you think that looks really matter in the world??

If you think that "Yes, they do" Give a thumbs up, and if "No, they don't" give thumbs down, (This is mainly for those who have hit their limit), but anyone can, I honestly on't mind.

I just want your opinions, do you think looks matter?

BTW, I'm not a "Beautiful" person, not on the outside, nor inside, and any advice would be great.

Oh god, c'mon...all the people have answered before me are in complete denial. No one wants to believe that their worth is dependent on how they look, aka: what they cannot control. But, it's true. That does determine your worth to others. Maybe not to your parents or to your friends who only see your "inner beauty", but to the rest of the world. If it didn't, we would see the most gorgeous people being the most successful. Yes, there are exceptions, example: Donald Trump, but that only came with years of hard work and luck. And, I agree with you 100%...looks do matter and if you aren't beautiful, you don't matter in the world. Sadly. I speak from experience. And, I find it very funny that the very same people who preach about inner beauty and how looks don't matter...are the SAME exact people who laugh at other people's flaws and are the first one to notice (and point out) an ugly person.

I think at first, of course looks matter, cause what else do you have to go on, but ultimately, if you are not a good person inside, no matter how you look, people wont like you. People are attracted to beautiful, but if that's all there is to a person they would probably get pretty boring.

Yes looks matter. EVERYONE (unless you're blind) subconciously judges people on their appearance. Being 'beautiful' makes a huge difference. You're more likely to get better jobs and better opportunities. It's a shame the world is so shallow, but we're all guilty of doing it. It's human nature.

I do think that beauty matters at some point. If in a job interview they reject you for your looks then that's a bit harsh.

what is inside really matters more than what's on the outside.

i don't think that any of us have a choice in what our appearance is..that happened biologically..but what matters more is what type of people we are..that we do have control over
