You'll have to explain that she is risking bad karma for the household if she doesn't do her wifely duties and take down the tree, after all 12th night has now passed. I am sure she will oblige once you have fully explained it to her - and after you offered to supervise as well, she should be careful you don't withdraw your valuable assistance in this project

Geeze...supervise??? Who do you think you are, her boss??? How is she unruly??? Because you told her too? Hopefully she's an adult...
You can't treat a woman like this! She's a human being! I'm sure if you'd help her take them down she'd probably like you much better!
You don't just tell a woman what to do...you ask her and then help her...you tell her, "Lets take down the decorations, and I"ll help you dear."
Supervise?? HA HA...that's pathetic! Sounds like you're a lazy pig trying to make your wife do what you want...she's not a piece of property you know...she's a human being! She should make you take them down by yourself if you want them down so bad!
Now be a good little husband and go take them down yourself you idiot!
It sounds like to me she should divorce your lazy butt! I'm sure there are a thousand men out there who would love to have a woman like yours! Maybe if the right man came along who treated her with a little respect she'd dump your butt!

Dear Lord, it is quite apparent that such an odd occurrance has happened. The days of a wife not obliging her husband continue on in this era way too much. Perhaps you NEED TO TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO THE DAY WHEN WOMEN WOULD DO AS THEY ARE TOLD!! Realistically if that happens please leave the directions for building the time machine on your desk, so that I may build the machine again and patent it.

If you can't be bothered to take them down yourself, then leave them up until next Christmas and save your poor wife the hassle of having to put them up again.

Take it down when she isn't around. Burn the damn tree and box the decorations. Whats with the supervising. JUST DO IT YOURSELF.

Is there a reason she wants it up? Maybe in her house they left it up to a certain date. Maybe until epiphany, or someone's nearby birthday? We left ours up til the 5th.
If you want something done, and there is no reason she particularly doesn't want it done, DO IT YOURSELF! She has a ton of other things on her plate and she did not marry you to be your personal slave. You may be king in your family, but she is your queen. Treat her accordingly.
