People always mistook you for a man or a transvesite? I was looking at the message boards on VH-1 and you wouldn't believe how many people were making fun of "New York" and her momma, talking about how they look like men and/or apes!
I would be horribly upset.

LOL I would be upset too. But New York's mom definitely looks like a man and an ape. New York is okay looking..her attitude is what makes her ugly.

Yes! I would be upset if someone thought I was a man! Gee whiz - I spend an a lot of money on clothes, hair and make-up to try and look good. I would hate to think I've been wasting all of that time and money. In NO WAY do I think I am a beautiful person, but I try and do the best with what I've got.
By the way, I really do think that New York's mother looks awful. I hope that New York's 15 minutes of fame are overwith very soon. I'm so tired of her.

It happens to me about twice a year, ever since I was a kid. I'm slightly androgynous looking, and being six feet tall and not bothering with makeup doesn't help. And it does upset me. But I refuse to wear a push up bra and makeup all of the time just so the ogre at the bank will know that I am a split tail.

I wouldn't feel sorry for New York. That girl is mean! And people know that the best way usually to hurt a woman's feelings is to insult their looks. Ehhh....you reap what you sow. She came across as a raging lunatic on that show.
Now, IRL if someone thought I was a man, yes I would be hurt.

Yes I would be upset--but what upsets me more is when I see a transvesite that has better legs than me. I hate that.

I always thought New York looked like that one muppet that hangs out with Animal on all he muppet movies. The chick in the rock band with the closed eyes and ginormous mouth..

Yes it would upset me but New York and her mother are not attractive and they do look like apes.

Yes, I would be upset, who wouldn't? I used to get mistaken for a boy occasionally when I was a kid and I hated it!! I am so glad that phase of my life is over.

Of course I'd be upset! I suppose New York does draw it on herself though, she's cocky, obnoxious and mean. People aren't going to respond to that well.
