At nine months he doesnt need that milk feed at 10ish...by this age he can sleep through the night....at 9 months you can give him his milk by 8in the evening after a lovely play in the bath and then a little story bottle and bed....thats how I did it which left me time to relax and be with my partner....when you start the new routine settle in cot and then leave...if baba cries go back make comfy again and leave dont be tempted to pick him up and cuddle he'll think its play time !!
Soon enough he'll relise mums not being much fun and the nice warm milk should help send him off 2 sleep.....good luck and dont give in....you both deserve a quiet night.

THe suggestion about moving it earlier by 20 minutes every night until you get the right time for you will work. Then when you do, you could start a bath at 8ish, his feed, read a story and off to bed. He will know it's bedtime sooner or later. My son has pretty much the same schedule, except he's usually asleep by nine and wakes at about 830-900 in the morning. We start his bath at 8 regardless of what time he woke up from his last nap, he will always fall asleep again after his bath/feed. He may not drink his whole bottle or nurse as long, but he will still go to bed with a full tummy since you have a great feeding schedule during the day. Good Luck !

You really need to bring his bedtime forward or he'll end up wanting to be up with you as he gets older aswell. He is your baby, so just decide on a time you'd like to start your evening and that's his bedtime. Say it's 8pm. Nice relaxing bath at 7, J & J baby bedtime bath or few drops lavender ess oil in the water. Cuddle, story and milk feed and off he goes. Is he going so late to stop the night feed? If so give it up. As I say, you'll only end up with a night owl! Make sure he is full from dinner and gets enough milk before bed. I was always quite relaxed about night feeding as I breastfed and when they went onto bottles they seemed to stay in that routine and it took a while to break.
Best of luck and guide your baby to your way, don't let him dictate to you. Little monkeys.

I would stick to the routine as you have it, up to his dinner time. After dinner, allow him to play for a couple of hours, pop him in the bath for a good old splash about, give him a bottle of milk and pop him into bed about 7.30.
My daughter has been following this tea/bath/bed routine since she was about 2 months old and it really does make a difference to your relationship if you get a bit of time together.

Get your child up earlier around 7.30 give him breakfast first thing. Don't let him sleep too long through out the day may by 30 - 45 minutes after his lunch, then wake him. After dinner at 4 keep him alert then bath him at 7 then he Will be ready for bed for 7.30 with his milk. Good luck.

you could try either bringing the night bottle forward, and if it inter fears with his other bottles then cut one out and give him more snacks in the day bananas and such to compensate, it sometimes helps if you do a bed time routine 7 sit and read to him 7.15 bath time then bottle in the bedroom with dimmed lights. Or just set a bed time and then wake him up for a night feed mite be an idea to try that first then take it away so he gets used to the time change. good luck

At nine months they no longer need a late night feeding,my son is the same age and he goes to bed at 8 and sleeps right through untill morning(sometimes). Try giving him a full bottle right before bed and see what he does.

Every thing seems the same as my girls routine but she goes to bed at 7 to 7.30...
After dinner I give her a bath then she gets ready for bed has a cuddle with everyone then goes to bed with her bottle......
Or if you still feed her, her bottle give it too her in her room with the lights dimmed down...........it might take a little working at but it will come together eventually

You need to start earlier in the morning. If you feed him starting about 6 in the morning, then he should be ready to be fed and put to bed by about 7 at night. You need to do this so you can get some relaxation.

Try bringing his feeding times forward by an hour. Try to get him into the habit of his last feed being at 8. This could be done by giving him a little less food throught the day and hopefully he should devour his last feed. As with most things, espesially kids, perserverance and patience are required. Good luck.
